Privacy Policy

InterviewRx ("we", "us") provides residency interview coaching through interviewrx.co. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have questions, email coach@interviewrx.co.

Information you give us

• Bookings and inquiries: your name, email, specialty, whether you are an international medical graduate, the time you book and any notes you add.
• Applicant accounts: your name, email, a password (stored only as a secure hash), and optional profile details such as application year, country, phone number and goals.
• Coach applications: your name, email, specialty, program, availability and why you want to coach.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
• Purchases: the package you buy and your email. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers.

Information collected automatically

We count page views with our own lightweight analytics. It does not use cookies or advertising trackers. For each visit we record the page, the referring site, an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from your IP address, and a visitor code that is computed from your IP address and browser and changes every day, so we can count unique visitors without identifying you. We do not store your IP address itself.

When you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in token in local storage so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.

How we use your information

• To schedule and run your intake call and coaching sessions.
• To send booking confirmations, meeting links, reminders and account emails.
• To process payments and give you access to what you bought.
• To review coach applications.
• To send the newsletter, if you subscribed.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Services we share it with

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service:

• Microsoft Azure hosts the website and database.
• Stripe processes payments.
• SendGrid (Twilio) delivers our emails.
• Zoom hosts video calls; we create a meeting for each session.
• Google Calendar holds our schedule. When you book, we add the call to our calendar and invite your email address, so Google sends you an invitation.
• Google Forms, if you use our optional intake form.

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Google user data

InterviewRx connects to Google Calendar only for its own business account, to read when that calendar is busy and to create, update and delete the events for bookings. We do not ask for access to your Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, account and purchase records for as long as you use the service and as needed for our records and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by emailing us.
• Decline or delete a calendar invitation at any time.

Security

We use encrypted connections, store passwords only as hashes and limit admin access. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

InterviewRx is intended for medical graduates and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of Service.
